Flower Circle Card

Products Used

I opened Dress Decoupage from Collection 2 and used the Snapshot Tool within Adobe to highlight the skirt and then pasted into My Craft Studio Elite (or any other graphics program)

I then copied and pasted the image so that I had 2 the same size in order to create the butterfly
I then copied the image again and resized it to make it bigger and then duplicated the image so that I had 8 of the large skirts in order to create the Flower Circle. I then did the same with one image from the Dress Decoupage Collection 15 to create the body of the Butterfly

Cut out all the skirts from the sheet you have created, then arrange all of the 8 large skirts into a circle and stick together to create a large flower.

Create a square card from the ivory card stock (the size of the square will depend how much you have resized the 8 skirts) and stick the flower you have created to the middle. Then cut out a circle from the ivory card stock (the size will depend on how much you have resized the 8 skirts) and stick to the centre of the flower.

Then use the 2 smaller skirts to create a Butterfly and using the skirt from Collection 15 cut some of the petals to create the body of the Butterfly. Then use a flower stamen or some wire to create the Butterfly antenna. You can then stick to the circle in the middle of the card.

Finally, stamp out the quarter Daisy from the stamps and colour in to match the colour of the skirt, cut them out and apply to each corner

Multifunction Die Cut Card Blank

Products Used

·         Fabulous Fashion CD Rom
·         Multifunction Die Cut Card Blanks
·         Ivory Paper & Card Stock

Print off any of the Decoupage Dress designs from the CD, cut out and make up the decoupage

Take a sheet of the Ivory card stock and fold in half to create a card blank. Then take 2 of the Multifunction Die Cut card blanks and cut off 8.5cm. Push out the elements at the top of the Multifunction Die Cut card blank.

Choose a complimentary colour from the decoupage and colour in the pushed out elements on the top of the Multifunction Die Cut Card Blank with your Graph It, Promarkers or Spectrum Noir pens. The easiest way of colouring the pushed out elements is to place a piece of scrap card underneath and then colour in, this way, the colour does not bleed onto the background

Stick the coloured Multifunction Die Cut card blank to the card blank you have created – it will overlap at the top.

Then cut a piece of the ivory paper measuring 12.5 cm x 19cm. Take pen that you used to colour in the Multifunction Die Cut card blank and run along the edge. Then stick on to the front of the card you have created. Finally, add the decoupage you made and then if you want, you can add a greeting.

For a finished touch, you can add some Flower Soft to the centre of the flowers on the Multifunction Die Cut card blank
