So, after a relaxing day of chilling and not really doing anything, I decided to join the Crafty Madness in the main house
There was so much going on, it was hard to decide what to play with! However, I decided to settle for the Gelli Plate. I have had my Gelli since they became available at Clarity Stamp but not really had a chance to play. So I settled down next a few Gelli experts, Mandy, Sazz, Kelly & Maria for some expert tuition. This was my first attempt
Not impressed!
However with lots of encouragement, advice and more acrylic paint, the confidence built. Here are a few of the better samples:
Then it was time to get a bit more adventurous and add a few Clarity Stamps into the mix
I would not say that I am addicted, but I had a great time playing and experimenting and will make more of an effort when I get back to the UK to have another play.
Clarity have a great starter kit which is available HERE
It was a great day and I learnt so much - it is amazing how much creativeness and talent was crammed into the room.
Here are a few more samples made using a custom ink pad which Maria showed me how to make:
Well it was a long and tiring day and Barbara caught me on camera and Blogged about it HERE
Happy Crafting!
